We are going back to one of our favorite new camps, Mo-Ranch!  The camp is located along the banks of the  Upper Guadalupe River outside of Hunt, TX, just over 4 hours from Katy. This is a KISD early dismissal weekend, so the long drive will not make the kids miss school.

They have canoeing (canoes, kayaks, and life vests are by the river first come, first serve), swimming (both riverfront and a swimming pool), riverfront slide and rope swing, 5 miles of hiking trails, birding, sports activities (tennis, basketball, disc golf, sand volleyball, horseshoes, gaga pit, ping-pong and other outdoor games), playgrounds, and fishing (catch and release only) included in the price.

The cost is $110 per person which covers 3 meals on Saturday plus breakfast on Sunday, the cabin, and all the outdoor activities minus ropes and archery/critters.

If ropes (high & low) are something you want to do, they have a pretty extensive offering, including activities such as scaling a 35-foot climbing wall, zipping down a 480-foot zip line, and rappelling off the catwalk.  This costs $40 per person, payable at the camp, but we need a headcount by the Monday before.
