CFA has decided to stop offering retreats, so we will going to a new camp, Mo-Ranch. The camp is located along the banks of the Upper Guadalupe River outside of Hunt, TX, just over 4 hours from Katy. The date has not changed from CFA which is October 19-21, 2018
They have canoeing (canoes, kayaks and life vests are by the river first come, first serve), swimming (both river front and a swimming pool), river front slide and rope swing, 5 miles of hiking trails, birding, sports activities (tennis, basketball, disc golf, sand volleyball, horseshoes, gaga pit, ping-pong and other outdoor games), playgrounds, and fishing (catch and release only) included in the price.
If ropes (high & low) are something you want to do, they have a pretty extensive offering, including activities such as scaling a 35-foot climbing wall, zipping down a 480-foot zip line, and rappelling off the catwalk. This cost $40 per person, payable at the camp, but we need a headcount by the Monday before. They also offer archery and a ‘critter experience’ for $20 per person.
The cost is $95 per person which covers 3 meals on Saturday, the cabin, and all the outdoor activities minus ropes and archery/critters. Please note, there will be no provided meal on Sunday.
